Here are some pants I made out of a really cool black and white cotton print that my Aussie friend Terri
sent to me. I used Vogue 1811, added welt pockets, and did a petersham waistline treatment. I think I
shaped the petersham a bit too much, I don't really care for it.
I'm wearing Vogue 2250, view A, in this picture. It's out of a red silk duppioni that perfectly matches
a pair of
red shoes I have.
This is La Fred's Cassandra Skirt, made out
of a neat geometric rayon print I picked up a few years ago at Couture Fabrics in Scottsdale, Arizona. This
pattern goes together in a snap, and I think it's pretty flattering.
The skirt is basically a front and back panel, with the back panel overlapping the front, and
only stitched together at the waistline. You might not want to wear this skirt on a windy day!
This is the Sewing Workshop's Teagarden Tee. I redrafted the underarm gusset to make the sides sleeker. You can see how I did that here.
