Liz (from NMSL) and I did a swap. She made a bunch of diapers
for me, and I made her this dress. She sent me a link to a dress she liked, and I started
with Simplicity 8191.
Here are the nursing openings. I did a full bust adjustment, and made a crop top. The crop
top is about an inch longer, to cover the waistline seam.
I put the little applique on the back neck to cover up where I put my label. I bound the back
neck with bias binding, and put pockets in the skirt (what's a dress without pockets! ~G~).
I also did a swap with Valency (also from NMSL). She sent
me a bunch of books and other stuff; I made her this dress (she provided the fabric and pattern).
This is McCalls 8713.
Here is a close up of the bodice. I sewed the overlay on from the inside.
The back has an interesting waist detail for the ties.
