
I really like the concept of using the lining. This way, the jumper won't drag on the dress.
I did this part differently from the pattern directions. First I sewed the shoulders together on
both the jumper and the lining (separately), then I sewed the neckline together, trimmed, clipped and
understitched. Then I sewed the armholes together, one half at a time, from side seam to shoulder.
I think this makes a smoother line at the shoulder.
