I made 4 child Angel costumes, but Calvin was the only kid who would wear it.
I used gold lame for the wings (and the collar on Tyler, one of the magi), and put batting in the middle and free motion quilted them. The wing pattern is from Angel Baby, in issue #40 of Australian Smocking and Embroidery magazine.
Mary and Joseph were played by Brenda and Lehman.
Baby Jesus was played by Jayla.

I made all of these costumes for $200, and now our church has a nice base of bible costume that can be used for other plays, or skits in the children's church. It was a lot of fun for me to make these, and I'm looking forward to making the caroling costumes for next year.
