This quilt was made for my good friends, Craig and Hollie. Their first child, Pierce, was born on March 29, 2002
I made this quilt in preparation for his arrival. It's the Milky Way block, from the book America's Heritage Quilts.
The batting is wool, and feels so dreamy. I also made a flannel crib sheet (so nice and soft).

This is the first time I have made a label for one of my quilts -- I used a micron pigma pen,
and muslin, which I had ironed onto freezer paper to make it easier to write on.
I like how it turned out. I also made a little care label.

July 2004 -- Finally finished this quilt for my good friends Jessica and Luther.
Their little boy was born last September, and so I finished it in time for his first birthday!
The pattern is the Triangle Confetti Quilt from the book Fat Quarter Quilts.

December 2005 -- This quilt was made for Dh's cousin, John, and his wife Jill, for their first baby.
It's the same pattern as the first quilt on the previous page, a double-nine-patch, set on point.
